How to train your employees on the cheap
If your company is in that situation, you’re in luck. Thanks to the internet, we have many training options at our fingertips…absolutely free. While the internet can’t replace a training class dedicated to a specific subject, it’s a viable alternative when money is tight.
Here’s some advice for department or company leaders with limited training budgets:
Sit down with each employee and find a skill that they want to learn and would help them do their job better. Then, set aside some time every week or every month devoted to learning that new skill. For example: You could set aside an hour every Friday afternoon where employees can research and learn their chosen skill.
