The worst US cities to work in IT
A few weeks back, I posted a link to an article listing the best places to work if you’re in the IT industry. I recently ran across an article on CIO.com that lists the exact opposite: “The worst U.S. cities to work in IT.”
I don’t think it’s as bad as they (or their depressing picture selection) make it out to be, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Do you work in one of these cities, and if so, what do you think of it?

I'm amazed to find San Francisco/Boston on the same list as Detroit, Cleveland, and Bentonville. Really?? I guess if you don't like music, theatre, sports, great restaurants, amazing pubs, beaches, mountains, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, fishing, the best medical facilities in the country, or hundreds of colleges and universities in the area, you wouldn't like Boston. Pathetic.
I totally agree with you. I thought it was rather strange to put San Francisco and Boston on this list. I don't know too many people that would complain about working in those cities. Also, I don't think sports teams in the area should really play a factor when determining a bad place to work.
