How to reduce the risks of modernization

We recently published a couple of educational white papers which aim to reduce risk for companies beginning modernization projects.

The white papers address a common problem: While many companies recognize the need for modernization, few completely understand their options, the hidden risks, and the steps involved. An uninformed company heading into a new modernization project stands to risk significant sums of time and money.

If your company is thinking about modernization in the near (or distant) future, I encourage you to check them out if you want to save time, money, and headaches. Here are the titles and descriptions of each white paper:

What screen-scraping vendors don't want you to know:   Screen-scraping is sold as a cheap and fast way to move applications to the web. However, many companies don't realize the drawbacks and hidden costs of this method. This white paper explains why screen-scraping is the wrong modernization alternative for most companies.

Crash course in modernization: This white paper explains the need for modern applications from a variety of viewpoints. It discusses various methods of modernization and tries to help the reader see the various advantages and disadvantages of each method in an effort to make the best choice for their particular situation.

I hope you find these white papers useful!
