14 inventions that you could’ve thought of
“Why didn’t I think of that?” We’ve all asked this question at one time or another. We see a new product or idea that makes so much sense it’s surprising that we didn’t think of it first.
I think the key to invention is how we perceive problems or inconveniences. Do you get frustrated and complain when something is difficult or inconvenient? Instead of complaining, view problems as an opportunity for a solution. Think about it: If you could find a solution to a common problem, don’t you think others would buy it?
That’s the basic premise behind this list entitled "14 inventions you could’ve thought of." None of them are “blow-your-mind” genius, but they all make sense.
Why am I talking about inventions on a business blog? I think it ties in nicely to the business world. When you run across a problem or inconvenience at work, instead of complaining, ask yourself, “How can I fix this?” Instead of being the person who complains about problems, become the person who fixes problems. Which is more valuable to a company?
Sometimes, however, you have an idea for your company that you can’t fix. For instance, maybe you wish your company would give customers a way to view their info online. Maybe you wish there was a way to access business reports easily. Or maybe you just want simple forms on your website for prospects to fill out. Whatever the issue, you know they would help your company, but you don’t know how to create them.
We’d like to help. If you have an idea for your company that involves web applications, we’ll create a working prototype for you. After all, ideas are stronger if there’s a functioning example along with it.
If you want us to bring your ideas to life, just fill out this short form.
