20 tips for better time management

I love this quote:
“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.” -H. Jackson Brown

In effect, the number of hours in a day isn’t the issue…it’s how you use them. Do you regularly feel like there’s never enough time to accomplish your daily tasks? Maybe it’s time to focus on your time management. If you need help, this article on lifehack.org entitled, "20 tips for better time management" has some great tips.

I especially like the first tip. I’ve found when I plan out my day either the night before or first thing in the morning, I’m better focused and accomplish more. Also, I think many people stumble with the 11th tip: Focusing on one task. If you’re working on many tasks at once, you’ll be less productive than focusing on one task at a time.

How about you? Do you have any time management tips to share?
